Summary
Kamani Property Group and Capital & Centric have brought forward a full planning application for 183nr apartments and 10nr duplex apartments along with a ground floor commercial space.
The project consists of two new-build residential blocks and incorporates a façade retention and renovation of the existing Ancoats Mill.
Challenges
The site is currently occupied by a range of historic industrial buildings and is bounded by the Ashton Canal. To the East is Hope Mill, a grade II* listed 7 storey former mill building.
The combination of both new-build blocks and retention and restoration of the existing Hope Mill Façade has resulted in design solution that supports its surroundings.
